I believe I’m a great fit for this role because I combine deep design leadership experience with hands-on understanding of complex operational systems — whether on a global and regional scale.
I bring the right blend of experience, leadership, and mindset to lead design efforts with both strategic depth and hands-on execution.
From what I understand, GTO is responsible for the global industrial system. And the UX Design Lead for GTO Digital Products focuses on the tools that keep that system running.
That aligns directly with my background — for example, at Ericsson I led the UX for their Transport Management System, which also supported global logistics and supply operations. So I’m very comfortable working in complex, industrial environments where usability and efficiency directly impact business outcomes.
In all my years of working, I’ve dwelled on enterprise apps for different industries (like Sandvik and Ericsson). I helped deliver intuitive digital products in fintech, ecommence, medtech, entertainment. In other words, I know audiences in different shapes and forms and on different platforms - focusing on creating experiences that are seamless and aligned with business goals.
I’ve worked alongside product, executive teams, sales, marketing, and engineering that translated end-user insights into strategy, facilitating design sprints, and prototyping concepts that solve real user pain points. I’ve run workshops, mentored teams, managed projects, and helped embed design thinking practices in use cases, whether complex or otherwise.
I'm comfortable working in agile environments and across international teams (I’ve worked with and for a number of global companies, in different time zones). I understand the technical side well enough to communicate with developers (because I am a trained dev), product managers, product owners, and stakeholders but I always advocate from the user’s perspective—balancing what’s desirable, feasible, and viable.
