I learned how to draw before I started writing.

I was barely four, bored out of my mind one lazy afternoon. My grandma, who was supposed to be babysitting me, decided that taking a siesta was more appealing than looking after me. So I did what any unsupervised child with a pencil and paper would do: I drew her mid-nap.

That spontaneous sketch turned into the first of many creative endeavors, that includes endlessly redecorating my mom’s kitchen wall to eventually channeling that same curiosity and instinct into a career in design.

And then I got older.

I create opportunities to learn all the time. Throughout my career, my perspective has remained consistent. What has changed is how I’ve focused on broadening my competencies. Over time, I have honed my skills beyond visuals, in creating customer journeys, immersive user experiences, people and project management — and a few other things that allowed me to have point of views in different mediums and platforms.

Looking back on that first sketch, it was less about staying out of trouble— and more about discovering the joy of bringing ideas to life.

These are my life's work and the tapestries of my creative journey.

(and yes, I have lived and worked in these places)
