I actually welcome feedback and criticisms both positive and otherwise.

 

Because for me, feedback works best because it makes me stay curious. I like to ask deeper questions so I can really understand what’s behind the input. And I also try to set my ego aside—rather than defending my original idea, that makes me more focused in solving the problem together.

I find it helpful to dig a little into perspectives and where they're coming from, because that often reveals the real underlying need. And once I get that clarity, I usually put a few different options on the table. That way, we can have a more constructive discussion and arrive at the best solution as a team.

If you have a shared objective of rolling out a great product, these feedback loops matters. That's why I welcome them rather than be repulsed by it.
