When I was in Malmö working as a UI/UX specialist, over 10 years go, I was part of defining an MVP that I felt was too big in scope. I raised my concern but didn’t push hard enough because my Creative Director was very set on a certain kind of vision and I only have an opinion that wasn’t backed by data, analytics, user insights, and behaivour - that was my mistake. Nevermind that I was new in the company. In the end, we struggled with delivery, worked long hours and had to scale back anyway.

It taught me that part of leadership is knowing when to challenge decisions — and how to do it respectfully but firmly. Now, I make sure to use evidence, data, and user insights to support my perspective early on, so we can avoid costly pivots later.

If were to be part of your organization, I’d like to evolve from leading or managing a specific product area or the design team as a whole and to help influence the broader vision across multiple teams — mentoring emerging designers to be leaders themselves and building frameworks that make design excellence scalable across the organization.

But more than the title or scope, what really drives me is seeing how design can evolve to stay meaningful — blending  psychology, technology, and creativity to keep experiences fresh and emotionally resonant.

So in five years, I hope to look back and say I helped grow both people and products, as a team manager — and that the teams I led became stronger, and the work we’ve created together is loved and relevant.

At this point in my career, in my life in general, I am looking for permanency. That’s why I decided that I will stay in Sweden for good and hopefully to stay in your company should you decide to hire me.
