• Understand the current design maturity state across the Fishbrain app — what works well, what the pain-points are, how design system is being used and the extent of its maturity and try to contribute to its evolution.

• Work with leadership to define the UX vision and roadmap aligned to business goals (e.g., accelerate digital delivery, improve user adoption, reduce operational friction).

• Embed a UX performance dashboard: key metrics for usability, adoption, satisfaction, business value.

• Coach and develop the design team: identify skill gaps, create training/mentorship, ensure the team can deliver the roadmap.

• Deliver one or more high-impact product improvements (maybe a pilot) that show early wins — e.g., redesign of a critical workflow, measurable improvement in efficiency or satisfaction.
